MEMBERSHIP

What are my obligations as a new member?

As a new member of the Englewood Area Board of REALTORS®, or the MFRMLS, you will need to attend “New Member Orientation” before 60 days has passed since your sign-up date. Orientation dates are scheduled every other month. Call our Membership Coordinator at 941-474-6664 for more information.

How can I get involved with the Board or committees?

It’s easy to get involved!

How do I access my account?

EABOR REALTOR® Account: Upon sign-up, you would have received your user name and password information for the member services portal of LAMPS. Contact EABOR at 941-474-6664 to speak with Marcia if you have difficulty signing on. Or, you can email  Info@eabor.net and we will respond as soon as we can.

To pay bills, view your account, and sign up for REALTOR® classes or events, you would log into the member services portal of LAMPS.

MFRMLS Account:

Upon sign-up, you would have received your user name and password information to log into the MFRMLS system. For assistance with your MFRMLS user name and password, please contact MFRMLS at (800) 686-7451, or support@mfrmls.com .

To pay bills, view your account, and sign up for MLS classes or events, you would log into MFRMLS and click on

the “GopherIt” icon.

When are bills due?

Your EABOR “REALTOR®” membership annual dues are due no later than November 30th of each year…for the following year’s membership. We begin emailing you the invoice approximately November 1st. If they are not paid within the allotted time period, late fees will apply and your membership is subject to suspension/termination. Board annual dues invoices not paid by the due date will result in the following: • December 1st and a $50 late fee. • January 1st suspension. • February 1st termination.

Lockbox “Admin Fee”

invoices not paid by the due date will result in the following: • A late fee of $25 and inactivation of key device. “MLS” fees are paid annually, and invoiced in April of each year. If you need additional information, please contact MFRMLS at (800) 686-7451, or support@mfrmls.com.

 

How much are the dues?

I want to dispute a late fee.

Staff is not authorized to waive any late fee(s), so please do not put staff in an awkward situation of asking. Membership is obligated to abide by the rules of membership, and the Board of Directors’ responsibility is to adhere to the Bylaws of the Board.

How do I change my membership information?

Most information visible to the public, whether on the MLS site or the EABOR website, must be updated through the Englewood Area Board of REALTORS®. Phone numbers, emails and other contact information may all be changed by completing this form and submitting it to EABOR, or by emailing Info@eabor.net. Office transfers, office address changes or Designated Broker changes, must be accompanied by the appropriate form. You may email these forms to EABOR at eaborinfo@gmail.com, and we will make the necessary changes which will automatically feed over to NAR, FR, and MFRMLS.

I don’t know my user name and password

For immediate assistance with the REALTOR® member services area of LAMPS, please contact Marcia at EABOR at 941-474-6664 for assistance with your user name and password. For assistance with your MLS user name and password, please contact MFRMLS at (800) 686-7451, or email at support@mfrmls.com

 

I need to transfer to another office…what do I do?

You will need to fill out and submit a transfer form to change your information and keep your membership records updated. Click here for the form.

I can’t/don’t want to renew my membership

While we are sorry to learn you are leaving, we understand. Please complete this form and submit to EABOR to notify us of your departure. Please remember to return all leased lockboxes to EABOR. It’s very important that you notify EABOR of your departure, because if you are leasing a Supra “Active Key” and it is not returned…you will continue to get billed by Supra.

What is a “Rewards” card and how does it work?

The “Rewards” card was established to give our REALTOR® members the opportunity to earn $50 against their following year’s local REALTOR dues. By returning your EABOR Rewards Card TO EABOR on or before our October General Membership Meeting, you will be eligible to receive a $50 reduction on your local dues for 2018. This is how it works: • Keep EABOR Rewards Card in your wallet. • Come to at least (5) qualifying classes or meetings between January and September 2017 and have your card stamped. • Mandatory Classes, Designated Courses, and Committee meetings do not qualify. (example: EABOR Orientation, GRI, etc.....) • NO duplicate EABOR Rewards Card will be issued. • According to EABOR policy, if the completed card is not received by EABOR staff by the deadline, you WILL NOT receive the $50 discount; NO EXCEPTIONS! It is your responsibility to see that your Rewards Card is stamped when you attend a class/meeting, therefore, Staff will not be checking attendance records to verify that you were present.

What is the “Education Club” pass?

A REAL BARGAIN! With the exception of designated or certified classes, a $50 annual fee entitles you to attend as many EABOR classes in that year as you wish! Call Diane at 941-474-6664 for more details.

BILLING

How do I pay my EABOR REALTOR® BOARD dues and fees?

Invoices will always be sent out to the email address you have noted on file. Paper invoices are not mailed. Once your dues and fees have been invoiced, you have four easy options to pay:

*Pay Online!

You can pay through our secure member portal by clicking here. Please do not wait until the very last minute to pay in the event you experience difficulties.

*Mail EABOR a Check!

Remember to note the invoice number and your name, so we know who the check is for! Please remember to allow for delivery time. Once processed, you will receive a receipt by email as proof of payment.

*Call EABOR with a Credit Card!

You can call 941-474-6664 for your payment to be processed. Once processed, you will receive a receipt by email as proof of payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Please keep in mind that during billing time, the volume of incoming calls increases and may make your attempts to reach the front office more difficult.

*Come in Person!

We would love to see you! If payment is made in person, you will receive a receipt by email as proof of payment.

How do I obtain a Supra Key Device and/or Lockbox?

Use of the Supra key devices and lockboxes are optional. Lockboxes are “leased” through EABOR.

You do not purchase lockboxes, but pay an annual “lockbox admin fee” of $80.00 (plus tax) to use and access as many lockboxes as you need.

I’m having issues with my Supra device…what do I do?
